Last year Bell & Ross added to their heritage collection together with the Bellytanker duo, a three-hand time just piece, and yet another chronograph. This season Bell & Ross br v2-92 aeronavale replica watches are bringing you a pair of watches modeled after a racing aircraft designed in-house by Bell & Ross’ style team. The Bell & Ross br v2-92 steel heritage replica watch BR V2-94 Racing Bird Chronograph is a 41mm vintage-inspired, two register chronograph. It is the counterpart to their BR V1-92 Racing Bird, each of which are likely to be found in limited editions of 999 pieces.
One of the things that I find interesting about these new legacy releases is the way formulaic they’re in contrast to last year’s, even down to using the very same moves and using the exact same basic structure. For example, the Bellytanker Chrono is a 41mm chronograph using screw-down pushers, 100m water resistance, and also the BR-CAL 301 inside. Just seems a tiny plug and play me. Also, like my contrast of this V1-92 into the IWC Mark XVII, I believe that the BR V2-94 Racing Bird has a distinctly Tudor Heritage Chronograph vibe to it. To be honest, I think there’s just so far you may choose a 2-register, vintage-inspired chronograph before it starts to resemble something different, but it’s a pitfall that needs to be avoided if at all possible.
Criticism aside, I think this formulation is employed for Bell & Ross br v2-92 garde-côtes imitation watches up to now. The Racing Bird Chronograph is, exactly like the time only variation, a watch that I can see myself considering owning one day. I think that there are some questionable design choices that were made on these watches, not in terms of aesthetic necessarily but instead in their choices to adhere to recognized looks. However, I do have to say I feel this layout does have a fun and amazing appeal to it that keeps me coming back. The Bell & Ross vintage br v2-92 black steel clone BR V2-94 Racing Bird Chronograph is going to be available for $4,700 in a limited edition of 999 pieces.
